MIT Technology Review Feature

The Brief

This is a magazine cover and feature spread concept inspired by MIT Technology Review's editorial style, built around a piece on brain stimulation technology.

I split the cover down the middle between bold editorial type and a striking thermal brain scan image, then carried a similar high contrast, image driven approach into the interior feature spread with a pulled quote for emphasis.

The Outcome

The result reads like a real newsstand science magazine: confident headline type, a strong central image, and a layout built to make a technical topic feel urgent and visual.
