Impasto Pasta Packaging

The Brief

Impasto is a packaging concept for a pasta brand, designed to feel handmade and Italian without leaning on cliche. The brief was simple: make a pantry box that looks like it belongs in a small family kitchen, not a factory.

I hand illustrated the chef character and ingredient details in Illustrator, then built the box around a deep maroon and warm gold palette so it would stand out on a shelf of mostly red and green pasta packaging.

The Outcome

The final box balances a playful, sketched illustration with clean, legible nutrition and ingredient panels, so it feels crafted on the front and trustworthy on the back.
